About

As a Registered Dietitian and Certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition, Eliza prides herself on helping her clients achieve their individual health and nutrition goals, whether large or small, in a timely and permanent manner.

Eliza received her nutrition education from Brigham Young University. She completed her Dietetic Internship at Brigham Young University as well.

Eliza's passionate interest in nutrition began in her teens. It only intensified as she learned more about her future practice and the potential it held to positively change peoples lives. She first practiced dietetics at Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. In the pediatric intensive care unit working with both the medical and cardiothoracic teams, she learned how to combine her passion of nutrition with compassion for the young children and families she worked hand in hand with.

Eliza has also worked in the long term care setting with the geriatric population, the weight loss and fitness minded population at a nation-wide health center and with adolescents living at residential treatment centers for behavioral concerns.

In her current private practice, Eliza consults with several assisted living and long term care facilities,  supervises the Congregate and Meals on Wheels program of Salt Lake County, teaches Nutrition at a local nursing college and coaches individual private clients. Eliza caters nutrition education to whatever specific topic her clients choose, and has vast knowledge and experience in weight loss, sports nutrition, disease-related clinical nutrition (both prevention and treatment), eating for health/vitality, grocery shopping and healthy cooking, menu creation and planning, etc.
